Director
Kelly Carpenter
Kelly qualified as a mental health nurse in 2012 in South Wales, UK. Kelly has worked as Clinical Lead in inpatient crisis services, Nurse Unit Manager at the psychiatric intensive care unit, Clinical Nurse Consultant in recovery services. Kelly also has experience in aged care, drug and alcohol and chronic illness and disease. Kelly made the move with her family to Australia in 2019 and founded Daffodil Therapy and Care, with the aim of bringing her knowledge, skills and experience to the NDIS space.

Counsellor/Service Development Lead
Jason McLeod
With a degree in Counselling and currently pursuing his Master of Counselling, Jason brings together strong clinical insight with genuine compassion in everything he does. Over the past seven years, he has supported individuals through complex life challenges, helping them strengthen their
emotional wellbeing, build independence, and move toward more meaningful and connected lives.
As a Counsellor, Jason works from a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, creating a safe and respectful space where people feel heard, valued, and empowered. His aproach is grounded in empathy, integrity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience, focusing on practical and sustainable outcomes that support long-term wellbeing.
In his additional roles as Aged Care Lead and Psychosocial Recovery Lead, Jason continues to champion recovery-oriented and holistic approaches that thoughtfully bridge mental health, aged care, and disability supports — ensuring care remains coordinated, dignified, and genuinely centred on the individual.
Outside of work, Jason finds balance in his garden and enjoys spending time with his beloved rescue dog, Millie.

Acting General Manager / Business Development Manager
Jayde Lowe
Jayde brings a strong background in disability support work, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and achievements participants experience in their daily lives. She is passionate about creating opportunities that empower people to thrive - from supporting individuals to access study and training, to helping them build pathways into volunteering and employment.

As Acting General Manager, Jayde combines her frontline experience with strategic leadership to guide the day-to-day operations and future direction of Daffodil Care and Support. She oversees service delivery, supports the team, and works to strengthen community partnerships, ensuring our services remain responsive, high-quality, and aligned with the goals and aspirations of the people we support.

Fun fact: Jayde used to attend friendship groups with her nan, where the lovely older ladies taught her how to say the alphabet backwards — a party trick she’s still proud of today!

General Manager
Brooke Carey
As Daffodil’s very first employee, Brooke has been part of our story since the beginning. With a background rooted in compassion and clinical understanding, she has played a key role in shaping the quality and culture of our services.
Brooke is highly skilled in managing complex cases, particularly hospital discharges, where her calm, methodical approach ensures transitions are both safe and timely. She works closely with health networks and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
Now based in England for a year, Brooke continues to oversee operations remotely, providing strategic guidance and mentorship to the team. Her leadership, deep expertise, and unwavering commitment remain an integral part of Daffodil’s success and growth.

Chief Happiness Officer
Sir Theo
As our Chief Happiness Officer, Theo takes his responsibilities very seriously-whether he’s greeting the team with enthusiastic tail wags, conducting routine treat inspections, or ensuring everyone gets their daily dose of joy.
When not making the office smile, he can be found napping, supervising lunch breaks, or quietly judging anyone who doesn’t share their snacks. Theo brings warmth, laughter, and the occasional happy bark to the team, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kim is passionate about knowledge and dedicated to staying informed about the latest changes within the NDIS. She ensures that the participants she works with have a clear understanding of their plans and NDIS framework. Kim has worked with participants in the justice system and understands how to navigate the NDIS within the prison and legal systems. With her kind and attentive approach, Kim creates a supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to learn and grow.

With a Bachelor of Psychological Science and currently working towards her Masters in Social Work, Jade brings both professional insight and a strong commitment to participant wellbeing. She combines her knowledge of the NDIS with a thoughtful, person-centred approach to support coordination. Jade's creativity and attention to detail - reflected in her love for photography and furniture restoration - shine through in her work, where she values individuality, clarity, and meaningful outcomes.

Sally is an experienced Support Coordinator who brings both professionalism and heart to her work. With a background as an electrician, she made the shift into the disability sector to pursue a more meaningful and people-focused career. Her practical mindset and strong communication skills help her navigate complex situations and empower participants to achieve their goals.
Sally is passionate about ensuring that every person she supports feels heard, valued, and in control of their journey. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her partner, embracing a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

You’ll always find Vanessa with a coffee in hand and a warm smile on her face! A qualified nurse for many years, Vanessa has built her career across both the UK and Australia, bringing a wealth of healthcare knowledge and a calm, caring presence to her role.
Her extensive nursing background has shaped her into a compassionate and principled Support Coordinator who believes deeply in advocacy and doing what’s right for the people she supports. Vanessa is passionate about ensuring every participant feels heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
With her strong communication skills and person-centred approach, she empowers participants to feel confident, informed, and in control of their NDIS journey.

Sian Towns
Originally from the UK, Sian brings her background in teaching and extensive experience in the disability sector to her role as a Support Coordinator. Having worked in NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) and Disability Employment Services, she has a strong understanding of how to help participants build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals.
Having lived in China and Perth before settling on the Gold Coast, Sian brings a warm, inclusive approach and a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. She’s known for her fun, positive nature and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Sian shares her home (and her heart) with her adorable Cavoodle, who’s just as full of personality as she is!

Candice brings a strong background in disability support work, giving her a practical and person-centred understanding of the needs, goals, and everyday experiences of participants. She is passionate about supporting individuals to navigate the NDIS with confidence, build their capacity, and access services that align with their goals and values.

As a Support Coordinator, Candice works collaboratively with participants, families, and providers to ensure supports are well-coordinated, meaningful, and responsive.

Kish Naidoo
As Senior Occupational Therapist, Kish uses his extensive experience to guide and support the team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care. His expertise includes working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, and adult physical disabilities, ensuring therapy interventions are tailored, effective, and holistic.
Kish has a particular passion for supporting young adults and takes a deeply holistic approach that integrates cultural, religious, and spiritual perspectives into therapy. His spirituality forms a core part of his practice — shaping the way he connects with others and helping individuals find meaning, balance, and purpose in their daily lives.

Mark Dyer
Originally from Newcastle in the UK, Mark brings a wealth of international experience and a genuine passion for helping others live fulfilling, independent lives. With a strong background in hospital rehabilitation, he has developed a deep understanding of recovery, resilience, and the power of meaningful occupation in promoting wellbeing.
Mark has a particular interest in psychosocial disabilities and takes a holistic approach to therapy — focusing on both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery. His calm, supportive nature helps participants feel empowered and understood throughout their journey.
Mark has visited 72 countries and has seen all seven natural wonders of the world — proof of his adventurous spirit and love for exploring life in all its forms.

Libby Wood
Libby keeps the heart of our Support Work division beating. As Service Coordinator, she oversees rostering, scheduling, and day-to-day operations — making sure everything runs smoothly for both participants and staff. Her kindness, sense of fun, and incredible organisation skills make her a cornerstone of the Daffodil team.
Libby is known for her understanding nature and her ability to balance efficiency with empathy, ensuring that every participant receives the right support at the right time. She’s the calm in the chaos and the friendly face everyone loves to see.
Fun fact: Libby shares her home with her cat, John — who has just as much personality as she does!
